ACONE's Hague training series is designed to provide 10 hours of training in intercountry adoption topics as required by Hague Regulations (22 CFR 96.48). ACONE does not imply, nor should it be assumed, that these training hours will be recognized by all adoption service providers. Please discuss training attendance with your placement and home study providers to ensure that training plans are compatible with providers' requirements.
Adoption Community of New England, Inc. is a non-profit support and educational organization of adoptive, foster and pre-adoptive parents, birth families, adopted persons and professionals interested in adoption. ACONE does not endorse any one kind of adoption, only the right of every child to permanency. Individual presenters are chosen because of their expertise in a given area, but ACONE is not responsible for the content of their remarks. This seminar is educational in nature and should not take the place of appropriate professional services.
