Adoption & Your Teenager: Insights, Concerns and Questions

 This workshop will provide parents of adopted teens an opportunity to explore and discuss aspects of their teenager’s development which are associated with being an adoptee. Issues such as transitions, family dynamics, identity and loss related concerns from a developmental, social and emotional framework will be addressed.

 

Anne Coleman, Ph.D, is a psychotherapist and educator with over 16 years experience as a clinician and special lecturer in graduate education. In her private practice, she specializes in working with individuals and families within the adoption triad as well as individuals and couples coping with grief and loss surrounding infertility. Anne facilitates support groups through ACONE and RESOLVE in addition to currently serving as an ACONE Board member. She is an adoptive mother of two and an adopted person.
