Local, Workplace and Specialty Chapters

Adoption is a lifelong experience. ACONE chapters provide a meaningful way to explore adoption issues and to establish deep, lasting personal bonds with others touched by adoption. Each Chapter plans events that are best suited to the needs of their active members. Events may include:

  • Discussions
  • Guest Speakers
  • Family Events
  • Playgroups
  • Ladies' Nights Out and much more!

Get involved with your local, workplace or specialty chapter. ACONE members may attend events at any of the chapters. For detailed information, contact information and a schedule of events, please contact the ACONE office.

As a member, you are able to visit any chapter event or meeting. Most people choose one that is geographically convenient or one that is a specialty chapter which meets individual or family needs. All of our chapter leaders are volunteers.

Adoption Community of New England, Inc., founded in 1967, is a non-profit support and educational group of adoptive, foster and pre-adoptive parents and professionals interested in adoption. ACONE does not endorse any one kind of adoption, only the right of every child to permanency. Individual chapters and events are directed by volunteer Chapter Leaders using the guidelines of ACONE, but ACONE is not responsible for the content.
